On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for November delivery traded at USD3.921 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 1.34%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD3.929 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.845 and resistance at USD3.990.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.38% to trade at USD85.14.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for November delivery rose 0.05% to trade at USD91.61 a barrel while Heating oil for October delivery fell 0.47% to trade at USD2.6705 per gallon.
