On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for October delivery traded at USD4.017 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 0.55%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD4.040 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.786 and resistance at USD4.040.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.01% to trade at USD84.24.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for November delivery fell 0.94% to trade at USD92.93 a barrel while Heating oil for October delivery fell 0.46% to trade at USD2.7435 per gallon.
