On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for October delivery traded at USD3.970 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 1.00%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD3.981 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.786 and resistance at USD3.981.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.17% to trade at USD84.22.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for November delivery rose 1.82% to trade at USD93.67 a barrel while Heating oil for October delivery rose 0.83% to trade at USD2.7624 per gallon.
