Investing.com - Natural gas futures were higher in U.S. trade on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for September delivery traded at USD3.901 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 2.89%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD3.914 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.727 and resistance at USD3.947.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.38% to trade at USD81.94.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for October delivery fell 0.59% to trade at USD93.20 a barrel while Heating oil for September delivery rose 0.25% to trade at USD2.8131 per gallon.
