On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for September delivery traded at USD3.808 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 0.86%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD3.822 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.731 and resistance at USD3.986.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.19% to trade at USD81.63.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for October delivery fell 1.93% to trade at USD93.48 a barrel while Heating oil for September delivery fell 1.53% to trade at USD2.8044 per gallon.
