On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for September delivery traded at USD3.913 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 2.13%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD3.938 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.809 and resistance at USD4.020.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.01% to trade at USD81.68.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for September delivery fell 2.06% to trade at USD95.58 a barrel while Heating oil for September delivery fell 2.87% to trade at USD2.8186 per gallon.
