On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for August delivery traded at USD3.857 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 0.25%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD3.861 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.744 and resistance at USD3.893.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.12% to trade at USD81.04.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for September delivery rose 0.09% to trade at USD102.17 a barrel while Heating oil for August delivery rose 0.26% to trade at USD2.8784 per gallon.
