On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for May delivery traded at USD2.539 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 0.45%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD2.550 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.522 and resistance at USD2.709.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.36% to trade at USD99.61.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for May delivery fell 0.90% to trade at USD50.34 a barrel while Heating oil for May delivery fell 0.31% to trade at USD1.7215 per gallon.
