On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for January delivery traded at USD3.057 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 0.89%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD3.097 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.000 and resistance at USD3.351.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.01% to trade at USD90.23.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for February delivery rose 0.59% to trade at USD56.17 a barrel while Heating oil for January delivery rose 0.58% to trade at USD1.9348 per gallon.
