On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for September delivery traded at USD3.897 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 0.55%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD3.900 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.761 and resistance at USD3.981.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.17% to trade at USD81.46.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for September delivery rose 0.68% to trade at USD98.00 a barrel while Heating oil for September delivery rose 0.54% to trade at USD2.9113 per gallon.
