On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for December delivery traded at USD1237.40 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.13%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1232.90 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1232.90 and resistance at USD1272.60.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.03% to trade at USD84.44.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for December delivery fell 0.01% to trade at USD18.598 a troy ounce while Copper for December delivery rose 0.14% to trade at USD3.097 a pound.
