Investing.com - Gold futures were lower in Asian trade on Friday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for February delivery traded at USD1203.30 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.36%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1201.90 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1141.70 and resistance at USD1221.00.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.09% to trade at USD88.74.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for March delivery fell 1.13% to trade at USD16.388 a troy ounce while Copper for March delivery fell 0.22% to trade at USD2.905 a pound.
