Investing.com - Gold futures were lower in Asian trade on Wednesday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for December delivery traded at USD1248.50 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.26%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1247.50 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1232.00 and resistance at USD1255.60.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.06% to trade at USD85.39.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for December delivery fell 0.43% to trade at USD17.473 a troy ounce while Copper for December delivery fell 0.31% to trade at USD3.019 a pound.
