Investing.com - Gold futures were lower during the U.S. session on Thursday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for April delivery traded at USD1207.50 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.61%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1206.30 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1197.20 and resistance at USD1236.70.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.39% to trade at USD94.50.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for March delivery fell 0.60% to trade at USD16.362 a troy ounce while Copper for March delivery fell 0.07% to trade at USD2.616 a pound.
