Investing.com - Gold futures were lower during the U.S. session on Wednesday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for April delivery traded at USD1219.20 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 1.06%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1218.40 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1252.10 and resistance at USD1286.60.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.29% to trade at USD95.13.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for March delivery fell 0.58% to trade at USD16.775 a troy ounce while Copper for March delivery fell 0.44% to trade at USD2.540 a pound.
