On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for December delivery traded at USD1277.90 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.18%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1276.50 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1274.60 and resistance at USD1303.70.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.24% to trade at USD82.58.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for December delivery fell 0.29% to trade at USD19.403 a troy ounce while Copper for December delivery rose 0.49% to trade at USD3.239 a pound.
