On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for June delivery traded at USD1306.70 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.15%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1305.90 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1275.20 and resistance at USD1315.70.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.04% to trade at USD79.19.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for July delivery fell 0.24% to trade at USD19.598 a troy ounce while Copper for July delivery fell 0.64% to trade at USD3.037 a pound.
