Investing.com - Gold futures were higher during the U.S. session on Wednesday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for December delivery traded at USD1243.20 a troy ounce at time of writing rising 0.72%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD1250.00 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1217.60 and resistance at USD1250.00.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.72% to trade at USD85.29.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for December delivery rose 0.23% to trade at USD17.443 a troy ounce while Copper for December delivery fell 2.99% to trade at USD2.998 a pound.
