Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Healthcare and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.01% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 4.45% or 55.0 points to trade at 1291.0 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 2.67% or 310 points to end at 11920 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 2.60% or 0.93 points to 36.71 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 1.80% or 16.0 points to trade at 872.0 in late trade. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 0.50% or 2.0 points to end at 397.8 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 0.27% or 0.9 points to 337.2.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 76 to 47 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.17% or 0.09 to $53.35 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.23% or 0.13 to hit $56.59 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 1.53% or 17.85 to trade at $1183.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.01% to 7.0160, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4340.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.00% at 101.47.
