Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Auto & components, Capital Goods and Energy sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Opera Software ASA (OSLO:OPERA), which rose 4.55% or 2.95 points to trade at 67.85 at the close. Yara International ASA (OSLO:YAR) added 1.83% or 7.4 points to end at 411.0 and Orkla ASA (OSLO:ORK) was up 1.68% or 1.05 points to 63.55 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Aker Solutions OL (OSLO:AKSOL), which lost 4.28% or 1.98 points to trade at 44.33 in late trade. Subsea 7 SA (OSLO:SUBC) declined 4.11% or 3.3 points to end at 77.0 and Seadrill Limited (OSLO:SDRL) shed 3.68% or 3.1 points to 82.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 106 to 71 and 2 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.78% or 0.47 to $59.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.53% or 0.34 to hit $63.16 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.03% or 0.30 to trade at $1172.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.53% to 8.7518, while USD/NOK fell 0.44% to 7.8167.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 95.45.
