Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Transport and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.54%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which rose 1.75% or 0.10 points to trade at 5.80 at the close. Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) added 1.71% or 4.00 points to end at 238.00 and Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330) was up 1.54% or 0.30 points to 19.75 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which lost 5.37% or 0.55 points to trade at 9.70 in late trade. Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) declined 5.26% or 0.95 points to end at 17.10 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) shed 4.98% or 0.65 points to 12.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 152 to 14 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.94% or 0.42 to $44.21 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.59% or 0.78 to hit $48.26 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.03% or 0.30 to trade at $1103.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.32% to 4.2381, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.14% at 95.51.
