Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower in European trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for November delivery traded at USD84.16 a barrel at time of writing falling 1.88%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD83.61 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD83.61 and resistance at USD90.74.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.35% to trade at USD85.96.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for November delivery fell 1.30% to trade at USD88.88 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.72 a barrel.
