Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD50.30 a barrel at time of writing falling 2.20%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD50.27 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD45.33 and resistance at USD52.48.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.14% to trade at USD97.69.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery fell 1.47% to trade at USD58.23 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.93 a barrel.
