On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for January delivery traded at USD59.12 a barrel at time of writing falling 1.39%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD58.85 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD58.85 and resistance at USD65.55.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.00% to trade at USD88.58.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for January delivery fell 0.02% to trade at USD63.27 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.15 a barrel.
