Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD98.39 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.11%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD98.28 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD97.09 and resistance at USD99.85.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.02% to trade at USD81.40.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery rose 0.01% to trade at USD105.55 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.16 a barrel.
