On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD102.00 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.38%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD101.80 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD101.48 and resistance at USD103.45.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.00% to trade at USD80.86.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery rose 0.03% to trade at USD107.25 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.25 a barrel.
