On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD59.99 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.65%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD59.99 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD59.24 and resistance at USD61.33.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.48% to trade at USD94.97.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery fell 0.29% to trade at USD63.12 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD3.13 a barrel.
