Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Monday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD48.52 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.73%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD47.63 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD47.00 and resistance at USD52.48.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.76% to trade at USD98.36.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery fell 0.50% to trade at USD56.13 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.61 a barrel.
