Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for March delivery traded at USD45.43 a barrel at time of writing falling 1.73%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD45.34 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD44.35 and resistance at USD47.76.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.29% to trade at USD94.54.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for March delivery fell 0.25% to trade at USD48.96 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD3.53 a barrel.
