Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for March delivery traded at USD47.81 a barrel at time of writing falling 2.69%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD47.64 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD46.40 and resistance at USD51.73.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.24% to trade at USD93.08.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for March delivery fell 0.39% to trade at USD48.74 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD0.93 a barrel.
