Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for February delivery traded at USD45.64 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.54%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD45.53 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD44.20 and resistance at USD49.61.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.01% to trade at USD92.43.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for March delivery fell 1.28% to trade at USD47.48 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD1.84 a barrel.
