Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for February delivery traded at USD45.28 a barrel at time of writing falling 1.71%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD45.25 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD45.25 and resistance at USD49.65.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.19% to trade at USD92.07.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for March delivery fell 1.25% to trade at USD47.88 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD2.6 a barrel.
