Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in U.S. trading hours on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD61.22 a barrel at time of writing rising 1.38%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD61.36 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD59.24 and resistance at USD61.36.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 1.20% to trade at USD95.66.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery rose 2.06% to trade at USD64.64 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD3.42 a barrel.
