Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in U.S. trading hours on Monday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD60.23 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.44%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD60.63 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD59.24 and resistance at USD61.81.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.27% to trade at USD94.57.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery rose 0.40% to trade at USD63.27 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD3.04 a barrel.
