Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in European trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for March delivery traded at USD51.83 a barrel at time of writing rising 1.20%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD52.27 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD43.58 and resistance at USD54.24.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.06% to trade at USD94.35.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for April delivery rose 1.32% to trade at USD60.06 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD8.23 a barrel.
