Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in European trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for February delivery traded at USD56.20 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.64%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD56.52 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD55.06 and resistance at USD58.53.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.03% to trade at USD90.21.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for February delivery rose 0.39% to trade at USD60.48 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.28 a barrel.
