On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD103.77 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.56%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD103.94 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD99.01 and resistance at USD103.90.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.02% to trade at USD80.59.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery rose 0.36% to trade at USD108.55 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.78 a barrel.
