Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for March delivery traded at USD51.21 a barrel at time of writing rising 1.45%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD51.47 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD43.58 and resistance at USD54.24.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.11% to trade at USD93.77.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for March delivery rose 0.91% to trade at USD57.09 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.88 a barrel.
