Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for March delivery traded at USD47.12 a barrel at time of writing rising 1.74%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD47.74 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD45.87 and resistance at USD49.20.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.25% to trade at USD94.43.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for March delivery rose 1.06% to trade at USD49.41 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD2.29 a barrel.
