Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for February delivery traded at USD49.26 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.95%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD49.60 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD46.83 and resistance at USD52.73.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.12% to trade at USD92.44.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for February delivery rose 0.49% to trade at USD51.30 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD2.04 a barrel.
