On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD103.06 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.19%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD103.08 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD100.61 and resistance at USD103.08.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.02% to trade at USD80.63.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery fell 0.01% to trade at USD107.80 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.74 a barrel.
