Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD101.50 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.30%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD101.58 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD99.01 and resistance at USD101.60.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.06% to trade at USD80.57.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery rose 0.05% to trade at USD107.24 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.74 a barrel.
