Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Monday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD51.97 a barrel at time of writing rising 5.75%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD52.23 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD47.05 and resistance at USD52.23.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.49% to trade at USD97.32.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery rose 5.40% to trade at USD57.92 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.95 a barrel.
