Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD49.70 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.79%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD49.84 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD47.05 and resistance at USD50.45.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.11% to trade at USD98.42.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery rose 0.22% to trade at USD56.86 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.16 a barrel.
