Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for April delivery traded at USD49.55 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.21%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD49.66 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD48.67 and resistance at USD52.72.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.05% to trade at USD94.71.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for April delivery rose 0.53% to trade at USD59.21 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD9.66 a barrel.
