Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for March delivery traded at USD48.70 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.51%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD49.02 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD43.58 and resistance at USD54.24.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.11% to trade at USD94.47.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for March delivery rose 0.22% to trade at USD54.67 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.97 a barrel.
