Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for February delivery traded at USD49.18 a barrel at time of writing rising 1.09%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD49.64 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD46.83 and resistance at USD52.73.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.17% to trade at USD92.37.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for February delivery rose 0.81% to trade at USD51.51 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD2.33 a barrel.
