Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for February delivery traded at USD50.26 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.44%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD50.37 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD49.68 and resistance at USD55.11.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.09% to trade at USD91.57.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for February delivery rose 0.94% to trade at USD53.51 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD3.25 a barrel.
