Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for February delivery traded at USD56.21 a barrel at time of writing rising 1.72%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD56.33 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD54.28 and resistance at USD59.04.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.03% to trade at USD89.91.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for February delivery rose 1.10% to trade at USD60.72 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.51 a barrel.
