Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for February delivery traded at USD56.02 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.43%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD56.22 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD55.42 and resistance at USD61.88.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.14% to trade at USD88.60.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for February delivery rose 0.39% to trade at USD60.92 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.9 a barrel.
